President spends B-day with Quake victims.

President Noynoy Aquino spent his 52nd Birthday with quake victims in the Visayas Region. He assured the poor folks that the Government will do its best to help them get back on their feet after suffering such a devastating calamity. While it's good to see and hear the top leader of the land calming and assuring the people, more than just words and assurance are needed. There must be swift, decisive and focused action behind these words.

People in the quake damaged areas are in pain, anguish and misery from losing their loved ones and from their shattered properties. Most are still in shock and disbelief about the awesome power of that 6.9 quake, who wouldn't be if you witness everything around you snapping like twigs and crumbling like loose bricks in just a matters of seconds. Even the toughest convict will fall to his knees and pray, let's see what Gloria Arroyo will do when a strong quake shakes her fat ass. When Mother Nature shakes her butt, everybody will pay attention.

So to Pres. Noynoy, Happy 52nd Birthday! Okay, enough politicking and media appearances and better start taking of the serious business at hand. Help those quake victims get on their feet as you promised and they will be grateful to you forever. Hell, they might even vote your sister Kris if she runs for the Senate in the future. Barf!!!!!

Visayan Quake caused more Damage.

Latest news reports showed that the 6.9 quake that hit the Visayas Region in the Philippines inflicted more damage than what was earlier reported. A lot of bridges, roads and buildings were destroyed and the death toll now has risen to 26. Authorities feared more casualties as landslides were said to have buried a lot of people in far flung areas.

In Negros Oriental alone, lots of people were believed to be buried alive by huge landslides triggered by the quake. They were settled at the foot of the mountains which smothered them when the soil was shaken loose by the tremor. Strong aftershocks are still frequently happening and thus quake experts warmed of more damages. There were many casualties and food, water and medicine were in shortage. Many of the survivors were in desperate need of basic commodities as most of the stores were closed due to damage of the quake or it simply ran out of stocks due to panicked rush of costumers. Supplies are not expected to arrive soon due to the heavily damaged roads and bridges.

Some of the much needed aid are slowly getting through despite the bad weather and the heavily damaged roadways to the severely affected areas, which are mostly in far flung regions. Relief goods had to be carried manually by volunteers, which are mostly the townsfolk themselves across broken roads and bridges and even across swollen rivers and slippery mountain trails. Yes, the "Bayanihan Spirit", a traditional Filipino character of helping each other is very much alive and openly practiced during these difficult and trying times. Still, so much more is needed to be done and as quickly as possible before more problems occur like diseases and widespread hunger to those people devastated by the natural calamity.

Let's hope that the Government would immediately help these people and not just sit on their asses while most of our countrymen are in dire straits. Instead of wasting precious time, money and effort on useless Impeachment Trials, these Government "gods" should concentrate on giving assistance to the poor quake victims. These Filipinos are in desperate need of help, all of us must do our best to pray and extend our support to them. May God help them in their darkest hours......

Practice What You Preach!!!

President Noynoy Aquino rebuked the employees of the Bureau of Customs on their Founding Anniversary. He exposed all their anomalous practices and even criticized one of their employees for driving an expensive sports car and shooting at innocent students who accidentally grazed his expensive ride.

I agree with the President in not tolerating rotten eggs in the Government, he should reprimand and punish those who defy, disregard, besmirch, defame and slander the laws of the land. More so if the offender is a Government Employee who abuses and disrespects the citizenry whose taxes are used to pay for their salaries and expenses of their offices.

But come to think of it, the President also used to drive a Porsche which he allegedly bought pre-owned a few months after he got elected, which he later had to sell off due to public criticism  (I bet it's still in his possession, just hidden in one his garages at the Hacienda Luisita). He also loves guns as he's a certified gun enthusiast and he regularly shoots them off at the firing/shooting range. So do you think it was wise of him to reprimand these rotten eggs in our government? Do you think these scumbags in Government will heed his call  to an honest and upright government service?

No, I don't think anybody will comply with the President's call to honesty and morality in Government. They will just play "Hide and Seek" with him. Why? Because he himself used to drive an expensive sports car, loves firearms, refuses to obey the Supreme Court decision to distribute the Hacienda Luisita to the farmers and a lot more. So how does he expect others to follow his orders if he himself is giving the wrong example? Maybe the President haven't heard of the saying, "Practice first what you preach!".

"Anak ng Tupa Naman!!!" (Son of a Sheep!)

Have you watched the latest news about the Impeachment Trial? You know, about the the Chief Prosecutor Rep. Neil Tupas Jr., who was reported to have a 3-story Mansion under construction in a plush subdivision? Yup, a Grand Mansion worth Php50Million and that's only the construction cost, the furniture and decors were not yet included as the building is still being built.

Now, what have I told you guys before? I told you these are all vultures trying their best to look like doves in public but they are all thieves, scoundrels and scalawags out to lie, cheat and steal. Out to steal the taxes of poor Juan Dela Cruz of this country. Sucking the lifeblood of all Filipinos just to build their grand mansions and to be able to live the lifestyles of the rich and famous.

And this guy was accusing the Supreme Court Chief  Justice (who's a real scumbag too) of ill-gotten wealth, pointing a finger at another guy for lying in his SALN (Statements of Assets and Liabilities and Networth) while he himself stated in his own SALN that his Networth is only Php44Million. Now, where did he get his money to build his Grand Mansion when a Congressman only earns Php20,000 a month as salary? Probably from his CDF or Country-wide Development Fund or "Pork Barrel", right? Yup, got that right on the button!

So this guy is a thief too, pure and simple. "Anak ng Tupa naman O!" (Son of a Sheep! "Tupa"  a Tagalog word means sheep in English) I told you they are all scumbags; do you still believe and trust these lying, thieving smart asses running our country? Barf!!!!

Deep Freeze!

Recent news reports show the severe winter weather in Europe and China. Many people have died due to the harsh weather conditions that has reached to as low as minus 20 degrees below zero or lower. Almost anything and everything is frozen out there, lakes, rivers, and even the seashore is ice covered.

Scientists say it is the effects of Global Warming; tropical countries would experience hotter weather while countries that have colder climate will experience more freezing temperatures. A very unfortunate event since the world prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or heating/cooking gas is already on the rise. Not to mention the Global Recession or Depression that's happening in the U.S. and Europe, a lot of people out there have lost their homes to the banks and most who still have their houses cannot afford to buy heating gas these past few months.

I guess that's the harsh realities of life. What comes up must come down, all in due time. We're lucky here in our country because we don't have harsh winter season. Although we do have violent tyhoons and sometimes droughts, we're still lucky not to have unforgiving winters or else where are we going to find the money to buy heating gas? Heck, most of us ordinary folks can't even afford to buy LPG to cook our food what more if we have a winter season.

I hope the people in those really cold places make it through this deep freeze. I don't think it easy freezing to death so let's pray for them too. Let's all pray that the dreaded effects of "Global Warming or Climate Change" doesn't push through because we're all going to be in deep trouble if it does in the near future.

Visayas hit by 6.9 Quake!

A powerful quake jolted a part of Visayas a few days ago at about past 11am. At least 7 people were feared dead due to falling debris and a few collapsed structures. A Tsunami warning was issued immediately after the quake as it was caused by an undiscovered fault line under the sea. Geologists said the quake was strong enough and was near the shoreline that it could generate a strong Tsunami. However, the Tsunami warning was later cancelled as no big waves were created.

People in the areas affected by the strong tremor were caught by surprise and were a bit shaken, some almost panicked. Most of the populace immediately went out of the buildings and were on the streets to avoid falling debris. Some of the buildings suffered cracks and fissures but thankfully, there was minimal damage. The streets also showed signs of damage but most were also marginal.

It was good that no great destruction was occurred on the multiple story buildings although 7 people did die as result of that quake. Very minimal but still, human lives were lost. The Philippines sits on hundreds or maybe thousands of fault lines and earthquakes are therefore a natural occurrence, it is also on the Pacific Ring of Fire so we have lots of active volcanoes here. Earthquake drills are frequently conducted to help keep the public ready and alert in case such disasters strike but still, when Mother Nature shows her power, we really can't do anything much but pray for God's mercy.

Man may have all the advanced technology but it really means nothing when Mother Nature decides to show us humans what strength is really all about. Just look at how typhoons, tornadoes, hurricanes, snowstorms/blizzards, sand storms, floods, landslides, volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis unleash their awesome power and then we all realize that we are not so powerful and great after all. Yup, we're just a speck of sand compared to Mother Nature.

OFW Deployment Ban Lifted.

The Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) deployment ban on the Middle Eastern countries  of Jordan and Lebanon was recently lifted by the Philippine Government. This was due to talks with the government representatives of these countries who assured the better treatment and safety of Filipinos working in their respective nations.  The OFWs were guaranteed of PhilHealth benefits, Insurance, maximum 8-hour work and a $400 a month salary. Let's hope the Arab employers keep their end of the bargain.

The ban on OFWs in these countries was due mainly to human rights violations to our fellow Filipinos working there. Most of these employers often maltreat our OFWs, beatings and rape are common, non-payment of salaries are the usual uncivilized treatment. If it weren't for the lack of job opportunities here, no decent human being would like to work for those dumb asses anyway. Imagine yourself being beaten, tortured, rapid and sodomized by these sadistic, heartless and vicious scums and you'll learn to hate them too.

Anyway, it won't be long now and the whole world would discover a new form of energy source to fuel all our energy needs and all these oil rich nations would end up dirt poor again just like in the past. Then they won't have the means to pay for OFWs to do their dirty work for them. Who knows, maybe will end up  as a rich nation and then will hire these dorks as slaves too. Well, Karma's a bitch so we'll never know what the future has in store for us. Let's just pray to God for His guidance and protection and we'll always be shielded from harm.
