Nonito Donaire: The next Filipino Boxing Legend.

The "Filipino Flash" once again showed the whole world that there is still a new boxing legend in the making. Nonito "the Filipino Flash" Donaire successfully defeated his Mexican opponent a few days ago in an exciting fight held in Las Vegas. The Mexican pug had no chance of surviving the quickness and power of Donaire and as most of Nonito's challengers; the Mexican fell and stayed down on the canvas.

Yes, folks. Nonito is the next boy wonder in boxing. Donaire will take over where Pacman has left off. The "Filipino Flash" will soon be the next hero of the Philippines and he may even surpass the achievements of Manny Pacquiao. Freddie Roach has a new prodigy and his name is Nonito Donaire!!!

There is only one thing that Nonito should remember and always keep in mind. He should always remain humble and unpretentious even if he becomes the next Filipino boxing hero. Nonito should stick to being a good boxer, stay away from politics and avoid at all cost the Politicians; these scumbags are the devil himself! Come to think of it, Politicians are really no different from Satan. They all lie, cheat and steal; they corrupt the innocent and after they are done messing with your soul, you always end up in misery.

Yup, Nonito Donaire better stay away from those politicians or else he will up like Pacman.....used, abused and now, defeated....

Volunteer Doctors and Nurses have arrived in Typhoon Damaged Areas.

Doctors and nurses from various provinces have finally arrived in Typhoon Pablo damaged areas in Mindanao. These medical personnel are volunteers and have even brought their own supply of equipment and medicines to help the survivors of the storm.

A few of these doctors were involved in an accident when one of their vehicles hit a fallen coconut tree and turned turtle, a few members were injured and were taken to hospital in Davao but the rest of the team went on and gave the much needed medical assistance to the typhoon victims. The medical group said that they will spend the Christmas holidays in the damaged region while providing medical aid to the population.

Our country needs more people like these volunteer doctors and nurses. If the Philippines can only provide the much needed jobs for the medical personnel, especially the nurses then our medical experts don't have to leave our country to find work abroad. Just imagine, thousands of Filipino nurses are working abroad to provide medical services to foreigners yet in our own nation, millions of Filipinos have no access to basic health care.

Let us all thank these volunteer workers who are unselfishly helping these typhoon victims; the soldiers, the police, the navy, the doctors and nurses, the media outfits and of course, the foreigners who are working side by side with the Filipinos. We may never help those that have already perished but at least there are lots of relief and support arriving for the survivors. May God bless those people....

Update: Death toll from Typhoon Pablo has surpassed the 1,000 mark. More than 800 people are still missing and are feared dead....

Reproductive Health Bill Approved in Bicameral Committee.

The RH Bill has been finally approved in the Bicameral Committee conference and will soon take effect once signed by Pres. Aquino. This will mean that Government will provide the much needed information dissemination to the public and to provide free contraceptives to interested couples.

The poor folks will be greatly benefited by this bill, especially those that can't afford to raise multiple off springs and provide them with their basic needs such as food, shelter clothing and proper education. I don't really understand the people that are against the RH Bill, more so the Catholic Church that insists that this bill promotes abortion and encourages crimes against women.

I mean, since when did teaching young people or couples how to control their reproductive urges from ending up into unwanted pregnancies resulted in criminality? Sex education will not promote promiscuity among the youth; hell, the youth will end up having sex anyway because of their curiosity! Teaching them how to use contraceptives will help them avoid ending up pregnant in their teenage years. Condoms will also prevent the young and the restless from catching sexually transmitted diseases.

It's a relief that the RH Bill has finally been approved and will soon become a law after the President signs it. I hope this will soon resolve the growing problem of having too many kids out on the streets that are committing not only petty crimes but also serious offenses because their parents cannot provide for them.

Rumors has it that Congress will soon tackle the passage of the Divorce Bill soon, now that will make a lot more bishops and priests going apeshit and end up rallying on the streets! Lol. But that is also an important law and we should have it soon, we can't be left out forever. It's only the Philippines now that has no divorce law all over the world. Even Rome, Italy has a divorce law and the Vatican has no problems with it. It's only in this country that the clergy is always interfering with the Government laws and policies and sometimes it's messing up the whole nation.

Our religious leaders don't care much about the Separation of the Church and State, maybe it's about time they start paying their taxes too....

The Governor of Pangasinan is a Jueteng Lord!!!

A few days ago, a mayor of a small town in Pangasinan accused the Governor of that province as accepting and even demanding pay-offs from an illegal numbers game called jueteng. The accused is Gov. Amado T. Espino Jr. while the finger pointer is Mayor Rodrigo Orduna of Bugallon, Pangasinan.

Mayor Orduna said on national television that Gov. Espino is receiving more than Php2.5Million every week ever since the elected official took office. Orduna said he knows this personally since he admitted that he was once a jueteng operator in the Province of Pangasinan and that he himself collects and delivers the money to Gov. Espino every 7 days. The delivery is on the 7th, 15th, 22nd and 30th days of the month. How long has been Gov. Espino in office, 3, 6, 9 or more years? My, my, my, that's a lot of money guys!!!

The whistle blower also alleged that he hands the cash which was always placed inside a paper bag over to the Governor at his official residence at the Urduja House located at the Lingayen Capitol Grounds in Pangasinan. Let's see, 2.5 million pesos every week equals 10 million pesos a month. Wow! This scumbag Governor earns at least Php120Million a year from jueteng money!!! The Governor is one lucky SOB! He even even gets his pay-off delivered right into his doorstep and it's all in untraceable cash too!

Of course the Governor denied all the accusations and said that it was all black propaganda and the charges were politically motivated against him by the mayor. As it turns out, the two were former BFFs (best friends forever) a few years back until something made their friendship and camaraderie turn sour. Let me guess, maybe the Governor and the Mayor both got greedy and their insatiable lust for more money made them double-cross each other. Lol.

That usually happens with scumbags and thieves; sooner or later they will start ripping each others throats because of the wealth and power that they are stealing. There is really no such thing as honor among thieves!!!

Mayor Orduna admitted as being a jueteng operator in the past, I wonder how many millions did he also accumulate during those prosperous years as an illegal gambling manager? What and how much are his assets now? I bet this ugly fart has a lot of flashy cars and beautiful mansions all over his province. How about that equally ugly Governor, what has he bought for himself and for his family from all that jueteng money? I mean, receiving Php120Million every year for such a long time can buy you a lot of nice, fancy and expensive things from all over the world!

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas said that Pangasinan Governor Amado T. Espino better hire the best lawyers to defend his smelly fat ass since plunder cases have already been filed against him by Mayor Orduna. Sec. Roxas said that the Government will pursue the cases against this thieving ugly Governor until he is brought to justice. I hope Sec. Roxas will keep his word and send this asshole Governor to jail soon. The Government should also freeze and seize all the assets of this ugly prick so that this dickhead and the rest of his family can no longer enjoy, divert and hide their ill-gotten wealth.

I told you before folks, in my beloved country the Philippines; 99.999% of all Politicians and Government Leaders are scumbags, scalawags and thieves!!!

334 Fishermen Missing due to Typhoon Pablo.

At least 300 fishermen are still missing after Typhoon Pablo devastated the areas of Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental. The hundreds of fisher folk went to sea before the deadly cyclone entered and damaged the areas in Mindanao. These poor fishermen are still unaccounted for and are feared lost at sea by the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard said that most of these fishermen often ignore typhoon warnings because of their desperate need to catch fish in order to sell for income to feed their families. These people have no choice but to catch fish every day or else their families have nothing to eat. As a dire consequence of their desperate actions, these impoverished men may have lost their lives during the onslaught of Typhoon Pablo.

In a related story, many of the victims of the deadly storm are still not receiving enough relief goods and medical assistance; these are the survivors from the far flung areas which are still isolated because of the heavily damaged roads and bridges. Only helicopters can reach these locations and drop the necessary supplies but the weather has to be in good condition before the choppers can fly in.

The food aid from USAID has already arrived and US and Filipino troops are trying their best to deliver the supplies to the victims. A lot of volunteers from various civic and religious groups have also successfully reached the heavily damaged regions and they are now  helping the people with the necessary medical and food assistance.

The Philippine Government said that they will build temporary shelters and bunk houses  for the survivors and the locals will be hired to construct the buildings. This will provide the local folk a means of income and at the same time give them protection against the elements. The Government will also make an extensive research to determine the hazardous areas in the region and to designate the safe areas where the local population can start building their new homes; the dangerous flood and landslide prone zones will be permanently abandoned.

Let's hope that more help will pour in for these people. In the spirit of the Christmas Season, let's all pray for their successful and speedy relocation....

Update: Typhoon Pablo has claimed more than 1,000 lives and more bodies are still being recovered. Hundreds more remain missing....

To Manny Pacquiao: It's the end of the line dude.....

We all know what happened to Manny Pacquiao in his 4th fight against Juan Manuel "El Dinamita" Marquez. Manny got knocked out cold on the 6th Round. Pacquiao said it was lucky shot but I beg to disagree, even the boxing experts say that "El Dinamita" set up the perfect punch and Manny walked right into it. End result: Lights out for Pacman!

I guess Manny's boxing career is over. It may be painful to accept that the Filipino's pride and glory has finally lost his endless streak of good luck. Maybe it's time for Manny to pursue a different career in singing, acting, hosting, cockfighting, bible preaching or even a military calling. Lol. As for boxing....I think it's all over for Manny.

At least Manny Pacquiao is rich and financially well established unlike most of us Filipinos, and his wealth came from his honest boxing career. As I've said before in my past blogs about Manny, he can't have too many masters at the same time; he can't be a boxer, a singer/actor/host, a politician, a military colonel and a bible preacher simultaneously. He has to pick 1 or 2 vocation and then concentrate on them to improve and perfect his craft.

But I guess Manny is just an ordinary human being being like the most of us. He made all the wrong decisions and became a victim of his own greed and ambition. He wanted to be SUPERMAN, BATMAN, IRONMAN, AQUAMAN, CONGRESSMAN and all the other superheroes rolled into one and he forgot his humble beginnings as a pandesal (bread) vendor which made him strive to be the best in his boxing profession. Yes folks; money, fame, power, arrogance and mixing it up with the wrong type of people led to Manny Pacquiao's downfall.

Manny said he will come back and defeat Juan Manuel Marquez but I doubt if that will happen. I mean that Mexican drinks his own piss for God's sake! I think "El Dinamita" deserves that win, if a guy ends up drinking his own urine then he surely merits a good break! Besides, I don't think Bob Arum will schedule any more fights for Manny in the near future. Who knows, maybe Manny's "friends" would suddenly start dwindling and begin avoiding him when he's not so much famous anymore.

As for the Filipino boxing fans out there, don't fret guys. We still have Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire and this kid can take over or even surpass Manny Pacquiao's record. I believe it's the end of the line for Manny. Manny's out, Nonito's in!!!

Philippine Medical Association to Send 100 Doctors in Typhoon Damaged Areas.

The Philippine Medical Association said it will send 100 doctors and other medical staff to the Typhoon Pablo devastated areas in Mindanao to help the injured victims. As of the moment, only 2 doctors and 5 nurses are trying their best to treat the hundreds of battered and bruised survivors. These doctors and nurses are simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of people needing immediate medical help. Most of the victims are now suffering from infected wounds and decaying injuries because of the lack of medicine, dressings and proper medical intervention.

The Philippine Medical Association should immediately airlift the much needed medical personnel and supplies to the storm ravaged regions. The survivors have been through enough tragedy, punishment and suffering; the last thing that they deserve after making it literally "through hell and back" is to die from festering wounds. The 2 doctors and 5 nurses must be commended for trying their best to save the lives of hundreds of people, they  have been working around the clock for many days now. They also need rest and reinforcement to effectively assist the victims of that powerful typhoon.

Pres. Aquino should mobilize the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and send hundreds of military personnel, including medical workers, tons of medical supplies and heavy equipment to hasten the rescue, retrieval and rehabilitation efforts. It is not enough to just visit the damaged areas, give Php10,000 to each victim who lost a loved one and then have himself photographed alongside the victims so that he can use that photo in the next Election campaign.

Thousands of Filipinos are in dire straits in Mindanao. The Government and our Political Leaders should set aside the May 2013 Elections for the time being and concentrate on helping these poor people. Time is of the essence, it could mean the life or death of hundreds of people. Victims desperately need  food, water, medicine, clothing and shelter. The Government must do more and act now before it's too late....
