Soccer hooligans kill 20!

Soccer fans in Egypt went crazy and rioted during a football match. Death toll is 20 and many more are injured. And I thought sport promotes camaraderie, friendship and solidarity among men. I guess I'm wrong, somehow crazy hooligans have bastardized the foremost aim sports. I think they should ban violent fans or violent groups from watching it live from the soccer field but then again you'll never know if a guy has violent tendencies until it's too late.

It's a good thing that Pinoys are not so violent when it comes to sports, I think there have been no riots or violence during or after a basketball game or a boxing match. Most Filipinos are happy cheering and jeering at each other during these sport competitions, never did they go on riots in the arena or on the streets during or after the game.

Is it because Pinoys are good natured and polite? I'm not sure but I hope it doesn't happen to us in the near future. I guess it's better to watch soccer matches on TV than in the field; at least you won't get stabbed, beaten up or shot at when a riot suddenly flares up. Yup, nothing beats a wide screen TV, lots of cold beer and good friends with you while a good game of sports is on broadcast.

Thanks a lot Sen. Recto!

Prices of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) or cooking gas and other Petroleum products are going up again. Surely, prices of all other commodities will soon follow the trend. Every time the prices of fuel products go up, all other manufacturers of basic goods hike their prices too. It's like a race for the finish line for the "Price Hikes"!

Well, we have to "thank" Sen. Ralph "Vilma Santos" Recto for that (the senator is married to a famous veteran actress in the Philippines named Vilma Santos, also a politician and Governor of Batangas Province, home province of the Sen.). Ever since he made the law increasing the Value added Tax to 12%, Juan Dela Cruz was screwed 100 million times over. Sure the prices of fuel products are rising world wide but if the VAT was lower than 12% or if it was not imposed on fuel, the story would be different. Pinoys don't have to be so hard up on buying LPG to cook their food or on gassing up their vehicles or on riding public transport that had to increase fares to off-set the high prices of fuel.

So many times the Filipinos have asked, begged, prayed, pleaded, beseech and implored the Government and our Politicians to remove, suspend or lower the VAT on fuel products but it all fell on deaf ears.....The Politicians/Government always say that they need the 12% vat to improve their services and to finance government projects, etc. which will in the end benefit the people. Yeah sure, benefit themselves and their pockets but never poor Juan Dela Cruz! You Scumbags!

So thanks a lot Sen. Ralph Recto! Thank you so much for the 12%VAT that you extort from poor Filipinos like me every single day of our miserable, wretched, depressing, poor life. While you, your family and your fellow Politicians and Government personnel enjoy the "Good Life" from our 12%VAT. I hope all of you will pay your "VAT" too, come Judgment Day! Vermin!

Coed Stabbed in UP Campus.

A female UP (University of the Philippines) student was attacked and stabbed by 2 robbers inside the campus a few days ago. The victim is still in dire straits and doctors are still unsure if she'll make it. She was stabbed several times with an ice pick in the face and hit many times in the head with an unknown hard object.

One of the assailants was caught by Police as he was seen leaving the premises with a bloody shirt, the other suspect managed to escape. The suspects were inside the campus looking for students to victimize and the coed was alone in the office of the Student Council when the criminals attacked her. They were apparently out to steal the laptops in the office.

The UP campus is more than 500 hectares wide, with lots of buildings and wide areas full of tress and plant life. It is open to the public and many people enter the campus to jog, rest or enjoy the park like surroundings. Campus Police make their usual patrols but there are so few of them to really secure a 500 hectare area. So criminals of all sorts also frequent the UP grounds to seek their hapless victims. Many crimes have already been committed in the past; rape, murder, robbery, etc. and most are unsolved by the police.

I pray to God that the student survives her ordeal. May God bless her and heal her. Nothing is impossible with the Lord, so let us pray for her speedy recovery. As for the criminals who did this to her, the cops should "salvage"(street term for execution) them. These maggots really don't deserve any justice except "Street Justice" so I hope the cops waste them. We don't need their kind, victimizing our family, friends, our loved ones.....

Dr. Abu dies, at last!

A notorious Abu Sayyaf  (A terrorist group in the Philippines) leader was killed in Sulu a few days ago. 3 other foriegn terrorists died with him in aerial bombings conducted by the Philippine Military in the same area. The Abu Sayyaf leader, a man with an alias of Dr. Abu (he's not a doctor but maybe he likes to be one) was said to be involved in the abduction of many foreigners at the Dos Palmas Resort in Palawan many years ago. He had successfully eluded the military for so many years, until now....this time they blew his ass off to kingdom come!

To borrow an old Western novel quote, "A good Indian is a dead Indian", I guess, "A good Terrorist is a dead Terrorist" applies to these dead A-holes. The world is a lot better off without their kind walking around, spreading their evil deeds. Kidnappings, extortion, bombings, rape, torture and beheading, etc., name the most horrible crimes known and unknown to man and these Ass-wipes have done it all the time.

To the military personnel who blew these terrorists straight to hell, Congratulations! A job well done! I hope you get all of them really soon. The whole world doesn't have any use for these terrorists anyway so, fire away guys! Kill them all and let God sort them out!

Iggy and Mike got lots of Cash?

Sen. Panfilo Lacson said that the Senate should reopen its investigation on the Jose Pidal bank account (believed to be an alias of the former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo and full of billions)  as he has proof that Rep. Iggy Arroyo who recently passed away and his Big Bro Mike Arroyo got more than Php 2 billion in secret bank funds. I believe what Sen. Lacson is saying is true, I mean if lots of money is involved, lots and lots of money, so much money that ordinary people like us will never, in our lifetime ever have. I'll bet its 500% probably true. :)

So I'm not surprised on Sen. "Kuratong Balelengs'" accusations (the former Police General turned Senator was accused of liquidating a group of bank robbers named "Kuratong Baleleng" in the past) on the Super Mario Brothers, I mean to say, Arroyo Brothers. Another Senate Inquiry the good Sen. "Houdini" suggests (the senator has the habit of disappearing and eluding arrest if accused of a crime, maybe he thinks he's above the law) well, I think I'll pass. The Senate and the Congress of the Philippines did so many inquiries, investigations, impeachments, etc. all for the "aid of legislation" and nobody ever got arrested or punished. So it's just a bunch of crap and a lot more crap! They're just wasting our taxes and our time!

Would you please, in the name of God, stop jerking us around? Filipinos are so fed up of these Politicians' antics; it's so over used and boring. If it's a soap opera nobody would want to watch anymore because its just the same old story, just a different title. Please spare us the torture and boredom of another Senate or Congress "Inquiry in Aid of Legislation Crap"! Please, please, enough of it! Please!!!

I Told You So!

Yup, I hate to say "I told you so" but...I told you so! I just mentioned in my blog a few weeks ago how the government treat the so called Overseas Filipino Workers or the "Bagong Bayani" (New Heroes) as a new source of graft and corruption and that the OFWs should be called as "Bagong Gatasan/Kotongan" or "New Milking Cows" and here's a new fee increase again for the OFWs.

It was just announced on TV that the government plans to increase the PhilHealth fees on OFWs next year before they can leave the country and work abroad. The government really is geting very predictable and reliable......in sucking its citizens dry for their hard earned cash. Imagine the Government as an "Insatiable Vampire" slowly sucking the life blood out of the veins of Juan dela Cruz (common name used to refer to Filipinos). A really thin, malnourished, sickly and dying Juan Dela Cruz at that. Wouldn't you be skinny and dying too if they continue to slowly suck your "blood" from you for so long that you can no longer remember when it all started?

Yeah, that's the best analogy I could think of to compare what the Government is doing to its citizens. Vampires sucking all our blood, slowly but steadily, they get fat, healthy and rich but we,the victims get really emaciated and dying a slow painful death. They always say that the Government makes use of our taxes and fees wisely, effectively and for our own benefit in the long run. Well, if you believe that crap it could only mean that you're so stupid and dumb or you're just one of them, you're a "Vampire" too. I hope Buffy the Vampire Slayer is still alive and well, so she'd stake these bloodsuckers' dead! Really, really fast! As in Right Now!!! :)

Just Got Fed Up!

A 23 year old former student of the Polytechnic College in Navotas City, Philippines held hostage for 5 hours a school employee. The SWAT Team of the Philippine National Police was called to negotiate with the suspect for the safe release of the hostage. Thankfully, the former student listened to the negotiators and let the woman go unharmed. Otherwise it could have ended in a bloody mess as most hostage taking incidents end up with the death of the victims and of the hostage-taker. Remember the Police Major who went apeshit and killed all those Hong Kong tourists inside the bus?

When interviewed by the media after his arrest, the hostage taker said he just got fed up with all the crap in the school. He said he was fed up with the long lines at the school during enrollment, being taken for granted by the school staff when the students need something and from the scolding they often get from the staff. Most of his classmates that were interviewed said the guy was a hot-head but they were still surprised that he'd do a crazy move like that.

I really don't know this guy but sometimes I get frustrated at government institutions too. Long lines are really a norm; stupid, lazy and arrogant employees also add to the delay of processing papers, not to mention the "Standard Operating Procedure" (SOP) of government employees which ask you for "grease money" to speed up the progression of your transactions. They can really slow down the processing of your papers if you don't give them any bribes, they make you come back so often and waste your time , money and effort. That's why most Filipinos have no choice but to give bribes to avoid delays in their transactions.

I've experienced this many times when dealing with the government offices, in the City Hall, at the LTO (Land Transportation Office), BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue), etc. so I know what it's like to be in this guy's shoes. I'm not condoning what this former student did to express his disgust to the school staff but most Filipinos really feel disgusted at our government system and its personnel. The level of corruption and red tape is really getting worse every day.

It would have been better if the former student asked the media to help him expose the school's anomalies rather than take a hostage. At least his ass wouldn't be in jail for his dumb actions. I hope he learns his lesson well that if you use your brain rather than brawn, you'll get better results. Well, he's got a lot of time now to think about that.....inside his jail cell.
