Sen. Ralph Recto Resigns from Senate Ways and Means Committee.

     Sen. Ralph Recto has resigned from the Senate Ways and Means Committee due to the Sin Tax Bill fiasco. The problem stemmed when the government and various private health advocate groups wanted the Senate and the Congress to increase the taxes on cigarettes and alcoholic products to generate more income and to eventually deter the public from patronizing these habit forming and disease causing merchandise. Surprisingly though, Sen. Ralph "Taxman" Recto who authored the 12% VAT Law which severely increased the prices of fuel, food and other basic commodities a few years back now refuses to hike the tariff on "sin" products! Weird, isn't it?

     Mr. Taxman said he doesn't want to increase the levy on these commodities because if the price end up too high then nobody will buy such items anymore and the government will end up collecting nothing from the smoking and drinking public. Wow! Do you believe this guy? He refuses to increase the toll on stuff that make people addictive and sick but he gladly made most basic and important goods expensive and almost beyond the reach of consumers! Yup, this guy wants to raise taxes on important and essentials products like fuel, food, basic services, etc. but rejects hiking the levy on habit forming produce.

     Why? Well, the answer is simple. If smokes and alcoholic drinks are too expensive then the public won't buy it but if basic and necessary goods get pricey, consumers have to bite the bullet because that product is a necessity. Less sin products sold means lesser taxes paid which also means lesser cash to steal from the public! Politicians never cared if ordinary folks end up hungry and famished as long as we end up buying and paying the 12%VAT but when it comes to non-essential goods, these assholes in Government are reluctant to hike the toll since the people can sacrifice and avoid buying them.

     Is this asshole gone crazy? Has he been smoking a lot of loco weed lately? Some are accusing him of being bribed and pressured by the tobacco and alcohol companies to junk the tax hike on their products. I guess we will never know if someone got paid and who made the pay-off, these transactions are generally kept secret and nobody is going to expose their own wrong-doings.

     Nope, Sen. Ralph "Taxman" Recto is not an escapee from the Looney-bin folks. It's Election time and just like any other Politician, he wants to be remembered by the voting public as the lone public official who opposed the majority and refused to increase taxes for the benefit of the consuming public. Sen. Recto learned well from his past mistake of sponsoring the 12%VAT Law which made him lose his reelection bid at that time so his doing the opposite move now. Yeah, everybody hated him way back them but like some malignant and festering disease he kept coming back and now he got his seat in the Senate once again.

     Sen. Recto is trying to outwit, out think, out class and screw us all over again so that we will vote him and his wife next Election day. Let's give this guy a warm applause for being a clever, witty and ingenious politician. He's trying to make himself appear as the defender, protector and champion of the consuming/buying public against exorbitant tax hikes on basic goods when in fact, he was the one who made all our lives more miserable when all prices went all sky high after the 12%VAT was imposed.

     Instead of protecting the Filipinos from hunger and poverty by not implementing the 12%VAT and increasing the taxes now on tobacco and alcohol to deter users from patronizing such disease causing goods, he is doing the opposite move.Let's all give this politician a standing ovation for trying to pull another fast one on all of us. Let's reward him with zero votes on May 2013!!!

Actress Lucy Liu Discriminates Filipinos.

     Hollywood actress Lucy Liu has been criticized for openly discriminating Filipinos because of their dark or brown skin. Liu was a guest in a talk show when the host asked her where she works out, indoor or outdoors to keep her body in shape. She responded that she runs in a treadmill indoors to avoid the sun or else she'll end up as dark complexioned as Filipinos and she doesn't want to be mistaken as a Filipino.

     Lucy Liu, although she is clearly Asian doesn't want to be mistaken as a Filipino. There is no problem with that but to degrade another race to promote yourself is really disgusting. Lucy Liu may think that she is beautiful, sexy and superior compared to Filipinos but I tend to disagree. She may be fair and slender but her eyes are defective, I believe it's what you call "crossed-eyed" or "squint-eyed" or "duling" in Tagalog. She should have her eyes checked and operated at the soonest possible time so that she can clearly see her defect the next time she looks at herself in a mirror.

     Lucy Liu is not that pretty, as a matted of fact, a lot of dark complexioned Filipinas look better than her. Liu became famous in the US because Americans liked her Asian looks since it makes her different with the usual white actresses. I hope it's not because of her crossed-eyes that she became well-known. Lol. Anyway, Filipinos shouldn't feel bad about her racist remarks now that the whole world knows that she's a racist bitch just like Frank Miller's girlfriend.

     I wonder what the African-Americans, the Hispanics, the Indians and other colored people will think about Lucy Liu after her racial comments. Maybe all dark skinned people should sue her ass for her bigoted statements and boycott all her shows and movies.

     *Update: Lucy Liu later apologized for her racist remarks/comments against the Filipinos. She said she never meant to degrade or demean any race or ethnicity. Okay, apology accepted. Let's all move on before we all end up crossed-eyed. Lol.

Dindi Gallardo Abused and Maltreated by "The Dark Knight" Author and his Girlfriend.

     Former Filipina beauty queen and actress Dindi Gallardo filed a case in the US against "The Dark Knight" author Frank Miller and his girlfriend Kimberly Cox a week ago. The complaint stemmed from the endless racial discrimination and physical abuses that Ms. Gallardo reportedly suffered from Cox. Gallardo had worked at Frank Miller's comics company for many years and was eventually fired from her job after the alleged mistreatment.

     According to Ms. Gallardo, Cox always berates her and tells her that Filipinos are immensely inferior compared to Caucasians. Cox also tried to hit Gallardo with a cordless phone and even smeared human shit on Dindi's working table. Gallardo also said that Cox would often leave her dirty underwear and bloody feminine napkins on her work desk.

     Whoa! Is this shit for real? I mean, in this time and age; racism is still rampant in the US? Is there any scientific proof that white people are truly superior to colored folks? If that is the case then why do more black athletes excel in boxing, track and filed, basketball, football, etc. than white folks? More over, if colored people are inferior then why the hell did Americans, who are predominantly white, voted Barack Obama as their President? Isn't that weird?

     This racist bitch, bigoted and shit faced woman, Kimberly Cox will pay a great price for all that racial slur and yucky antics. Dindi Gallardo will surely win the case that she filed against Frank Miller and his crazy girlfriend, unless a white supremacist judge and a bunch of Ku Klux Klan jury is selected to hear the case.

     Gallardo may have lost her job at the comics company but she'll probably end up getting richer in the long run when the case is ruled in her favor. Just like the Filipina nurses that were fired from their job in a US Hospital because they were speaking in Tagalog among themselves. The US Court awarded them $1Million in damages after winning the legal battle.

     Maybe Frank Miller and his girlfriend failed to collect all their money from the Batman producers since the film was never shown after that shooting incident in that US theater so they decided to take it all out on Gallardo. Dindi is probably laughing her guts now since she will surely get a big amount as damages for all her troubles, she just has to keep in mind not to loan her ex-boyfriend Gabby Conception any cent or she'll get screwed up again! Lol.

200 Bags of Donated Blood Infected with HIV!

     Almost 200 bags of donated human blood tested positive for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus or HIV, according to the Department of Health (DoH) a week ago. Now this is one nasty bug which causes the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome or AIDS which will make you end up dead!

     HIV/AIDS is not a new disease; as a matter of fact it's an old one. HIV/AIDS was discovered in the 1980's and up to now there is still no cure although there are drugs that will slow it down from developing to a full blown AIDS infection. A couple of vaccines have reportedly been invented but nobody can prove that its 100% safe, effective and affordable.

     HIV/AIDS can be transmitted when a person is exposed to body fluids that are infected with the virus such as blood,semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk. It cannot be transmitted through kissing or oral sex but you can get other deadly diseases like Hepatitis so better be careful who you kiss or what you kiss. The 200 bags of infected blood is really scary since it means that there are more and more people out there who are carriers of the virus without them knowing it. Hell, they could be spreading it all over the country right this very moment!

     Although the DoH has an effective blood screening method that can detect the virus from donated blood before it can infect anybody, the creepy part is that the person that has the virus without knowing that he/she is infected maybe spreading it unintentionally through casual sexual relationships. Yup, it could be anybody and anyone can get the bug if you don't take the necessary precautions.

     The Government should again revive the information campaign to prevent the spread of this disease. The DoH should start a massive info drive to halt its spread or at least slow it down just like what Pres. Fidel V. Ramos did in his term. Remember the little guy that served as DoH Secretary? I can't recall his name but he fought the Catholic Church which was against the Government's massive anti-HIV/AIDS campaign. The Church was against that drive because it involved the promotion and use of condoms to prevent the infection.

     The Church will surely fight the Government if it will again promote the use of condoms but its the only way to surely stop HIV/AIDS. Sexual abstinence, having one sexual partner or staying virgin until you get married doesn't apply to all individuals; it is simply unrealistic and that is the painful truth. Now, I'm not promoting sexual promiscuity but its better to wear that rubber the need arises.

Supreme Court Issues TRO on Anti-Cybercrime Law.

     The Supreme Court of the Philippines (SC) has finally issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against the abusive and freedom eradicating Anti-Cybercrime Law. Now the lawmakers (Senators and Congressmen) who tried to shove this Martial Law inspired bill up our asses to suppress our freedom of speech and expression in order to protect and conceal their graft and corruption has suddenly found themselves in deep shit. Yup, these scumbags have stirred a hornet's nest and they are now being attacked by freedom loving Filipinos for trying to mess up our liberty. Even with this early victory from the SC issued TRO, the protesters and activists that are fighting this lousy bill are not resting on their laurels. I guess these heroes know well enough that these politicians can never be trusted forever.

     The Internet Libel, warrant less arrest and seizure, as well as the power to compel Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to provide the necessary data about their clients to the Police must be removed and deleted. These provisions will only be used and abused by the cops to make unlawful arrests and to sow terror among the citizenry. Yup, just like the Martial Law years where the Metrocom and the Military can arrest, jail, torture, rape and kill anybody suspected and accused of being an enemy of the state. The Anti-Cybercrime Law really stinks of E-Martial Law no matter how its proponents try to deny it. It's a law designed to kill our freedom and to deter us from speaking out our views.

     I hope the SC would finally do what is right to prevent this injustice from being implemented. Never let these assholes in Government bring back that horrific past, the dark ages of the Martial Law. The Internet was invented and discovered to enhance the freedom of all individuals and although it is far from being perfect, nobody has the right to mess it all up. So let us all remain vigilant at all times for our rights and independence, these politicians will keep on trying to shut us all up and treat us like shit so they can continue their dastardly deeds unabated forever. Let us remember what these scumbags tried to do and never vote them and the rest of their filthy clan again on May 2013. Treacherous scumbags!!! It's payback time!!!

Ex-Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo wants to stay at the VMMC Hospital.

     What is so special about hospitals these days that most of the politicians who are to be arrested would rather stay attached to intravenous tubes and keep on faking their illnesses? I guess they would rather keep those medical tubes and needles stuck in their veins than find themselves incarcerated. A case in point is former Pres. Gloria Arroyo's insistence of staying and being confined at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) despite the doctors there telling her that she is as strong as a horse and can be discharged. But she would prefer to be confined at the VMMC forever than see and enjoy the insides of a regular jail cell. Her co-accused in the PhP366Million Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Intelligence Fund anomaly, former PCSO Chairman Manuel Morato is also confined in another hospital before cops could serve his arrest warrant and send him also to jail.

     Obviously, these two partners in crime are faking their illnesses to avoid arrest and steer clear of being placed inside a prison cell along with ordinary and poor criminals. Let's face it folks, Ex-Pres. Arroyo was once the most powerful woman in this country and ex-Chairman Morato is from a very rich and influential clan. If you were in their shoes right now, you also wouldn't want to end up in jail and share you bunk bed with other lowly inmates, right? But the law must be applied equally to all accused, regardless of their social and financial status. There should be no special treatment accorded to people who are charged with petty crimes and those charged with plunder.

     If these two really stole or misused the 366 million peso PCSO funds which are from the lotto betting public then they should go to jail right now. I mean, if an ordinary person steals a 100 pesos and he got caught, he would certainly end up in the slammer so then why should a rich thief caught pocketing 366 million pesos stay in an air-conditioned hospital rooms while faking alleged serious illnesses? No one is supposed to be above the law so that should also be applied to ex-Pres. Arroyo and to ex-Chairman Morato.

     As for their alleged life-threatening illnesses, the Government can always provide them both with a medical doctor to monitor their health 24/7 while they are in jail. That's also a form of special treatment you might say? Okay, then maybe a fake doctor whose also in jail serving his punishment can be their cellmate and can monitor their health. At least when the fake doctor makes a mistake which later results in their untimely demise then he doesn't have to go to jail all over again because he's already in jail, right? Lol. What do you think?

Sen. Sotto Denies Using Internet Libel to get back at his Critics.

     Sen. Sotto vehemently denied suspicions and accusations that he secretly and covertly included the Internet Libel provision in the much ballyhooed anti-Cybercrime Law to get back and have his sweet revenge on all his detractors and hecklers in the World Wide Web.

     The Senator who recently got famous all over the planet because of his 2 instances of plagiarism in his Senate Privileged Speeches against the Reproductive Health Bill suddenly found himself the target of alleged "Cyber Bullying" and some concluded that the provision was his sure way of retaliating to all his "enemies" in the web.

     Well, it can be said that the timing of his Internet Libel provision and the cyber-attacks on him a few weeks ago will make any Tom, Dick and Harry conclude that way. I myself believe that Sen. Sotto wants to use that new law to whip all our asses for laughing our hearts out at his stupidity.

     Will anybody still believe Sen. Sotto or any politician for that matter when they say anything from now on? I mean, Sotto did steal someone else's ideas twice in a row and then lied again about injecting that E-Libel crap. Then after a few days, he said he did it to protect the innocent from cyber-bullying and libelous statements. Is he senile or he's just a pathological liar?

     Sen. Sotto should read the story of Pinocchio and "The Shepherd's Boy" but he should avoid plagiarizing parts of the stories again. Lol. "A LIAR WILL NOT BE BELIEVED, EVEN WHEN HE SPEAKS THE TRUTH" (from "The Shepherd's Boy" story), Sotto better get his act together as May 2013 is fast approaching...Sen. Sotto for sure wouldn't want to lose his pork barrel, right? We all know that it's all about the pork barrel that they are in politics; it's never about serving the public; it always about serving themselves with all that billions of taxpayers' money.
