The May 2013 Elections was barely
over yet Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is accusing Department of Local Interior
Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas of political harassment. The issue
stemmed from an incident in Sen. Revilla’s compound in Cavite where armed men
were spotted roaming around the vicinity. The alarmed residents called the local Police
to investigate.
When the cops
arrived in the area, they inspected several parked vehicles which yielded
various high powered firearms and ammunition. Several armed men were also seen
entering the house of Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. The cops tried to pursue the unidentified
armed men who went to the Revilla’s compound but the Senator refused them entry
without a valid search warrant.
According to the
Senator, the armed men were National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) personnel
who were giving him protection because of the presence of suspicious armed
individuals who were loitering near his dwelling. Revilla said that the men
that entered his house were legitimate NBI forces and thus were authorized to
carry high powered firearms.
DILG Sec. Mar
Roxas joined the fray when he said that not even legitimate NBI personnel are
allowed to carry weapons without proper Election Gun Ban permits issued by the
Commission on Elections (COMELEC). Sec. Mar Roxas ordered the Philippine
National Police (PNP) to cordon the Revilla’s compound and arrest any armed men
that would get out of the area if these personnel cannot show the necessary
COMELEC gun ban permits.
This situation now sparked the word
war between Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. who has openly accused DILG Sec. Mar Roxas
of political harassment. Well, I agree. The May 2016 Presidential Elections is
only 3 years away. There are 3 contenders for the Presidential race on 2016,
namely:
1)
DILG Sec. Mar Roxas
2)
Sen. Ramon Revilla, Jr.
3)
Vice President Jejomar Binay
So this is
clearly a prelude to the May 2016 Presidential Elections, folks! I wonder when will
Vice President Jejomar Binay will join the word war? You see the sooner these
three stooges start quarreling, bickering and degrading each other, the better
chances of getting the attention and hopefully the votes of the people.
All
politicians are the same…..all are 100% assholes!!!
