Puerto Princesa Underground River makes it!

Yup! Its official, the Puerto Princesa Underground River makes it to "The New 7 Wonders of the World"! Now tourists, both local and foreign can all flock to Palawan to check out that cave and river rolled into one. It's also the longest of its kind in the world, 8 kilometers long with lots of bats and a "Dugong" or Sea Cow fossil embedded in the cave's ceiling that's believed to be thousands of years old. The UNESCO officially declared the Palawan Underground River as a National Heritage Site a couple of years ago and now it's a part of the New 7 Wonders of the world. I bet it makes every Filipino smile up to their ears!

Tourists can also visit lots of beautiful places in the Philippines and the Pinoys are really famous for being one of the friendliest and most hospitable people in the world. Foreigners can enjoy our great weather, delicious food, top grade hotels, resorts and beaches and the good character of the  Filipinos. Of course, the prices here are cheaper too than those abroad so more bang for their hard-earned money.

So to all foreign and local tourists, come and visit the whole of the Philippines and enjoy what our country has to offer. And to borrow a slogan of the Dept. of tourism, "Tara na, Byahe na! It's definitely more fun in the Philippines! :)
