A few weeks ago, 3 Chinese drug chemists were rescued by 20 armed men as the prisoners were being escorted by jail guards to a courthouse. Two vans blocked the path of the prison vehicle, less than a kilometer away from from the jailhouse in Cavite. The prison guards were disarmed and ordered to lie down on the floor of the Asian Utility Vehicle (AUV) by the heavily armed men. The 3 Chinks and a Filipino convict were then transferred to the get away vans and were immediately whisked away from the area.
The 3 Chinese drug cooks were arrested in 2003 after a successful drug raid on a shabu or meth lab. They have been in jail for so long that nobody expected them to be "rescued" by anybody. The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now looking for the escaped convicts but the chance of finding and capturing them are getting slim. The 3 Chinese are probably in a safe house or in another shabu lab somewhere in the country and are busy concocting their deadly brew all over again.
The question is who ordered the rescue? My best guess is this, some big time drug lord or politician engaged in the drug business orchestrated the daring rescue. Well, it's not really a daring rescue since the jail guards never had a "China man's chance" against the 20 armed goons. Lol. Some big-time Narco-Politician probably needs lots and lots of cash for the coming Elections so the best way to make money is to manufacture and sell drugs to finance his election bid. Yup, rescue 3 druggists and let's make some drugs!!!
As for the jail guards, it's not really surprising that they were outwitted once again by the bad guys. The police and the jail guards in this country are famous for 2 things: Stupidity and Corruption. No wonder criminals end up scot-free and back to their old ways in no time. Only in the Philippines, dude! Only in the Philippines!
