Poor folks usually seek medical help in Government owned and operated hospitals to get free medical procedures and medicines but this may soon stop if the plan to "Corporatize" or let private companies to operate these medical facilities pushes through. A House Bill is being proposed by another asshole Congressman to make 26 important Government infirmaries all over the country become privatized or "corporatized" as he wants it to be called.
The Congressman said the proper term is "corporatize" and not privatize since the 26 medical facilities will still be owned by the state and it will just be operated and managed by private firms. The Solon said the main purpose is to make these institutions more efficient, modern, cost-effective and well-organized which will greatly improve health services for the poor Filipinos.
I guess we do have an endless supply of assholes and dumb pricks in the Senate and in Congress. Privatizing or corporatizing is essentially the same thing. It's like saying feces instead of shit. It sounds different and nice but it still smells like crap! Sure corporatizing public hospitals will make them efficient and better but at what cost to the poor and the indigent folks? If most Filipinos are rich like these political dicks then we all would want to seek medical care from expensive hospitals like St. Luke's and Makati Med.
Who in his right mind would want to go to public infirmaries where the facilities are bad, over-crowded and there is a shortage of medicines? If all Filipinos are as rich as the Ayalas, Zobels and the Cojuangcos; I don't think Government Hospitals would be needed anymore. These politicians are really pushing our patience to the limit, they screw us up, steal from us and then they make our heads spin around with their unusual words. Corporatize my ass!
