The high crime rate that has occurred this January was blamed by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to the upcoming elections. Most of us have seen on TV the upsurge of crimes and the almost daily incidents of murders, rapes and robberies. A lot of Politicians have been gunned down (thank, God!) robbery in malls, pawnshops, banks and remittance shops are rampant and may soon become a normal activity (May God forbid!). Let's not forget the increase in rape cases with helpless children as the victims.....
Maybe the cops are right in blaming the upcoming Elections as the culprit why the crime rates are now going sky high. Political rivalries are starting to boil up and the heat will intensify until Election day. Heck, it will continue to heat up even after the votes are cast! The politicians in our country are not only cheaters and vote buyers; they are also sore losers and killers so expect the violence to continue until post balloting time.
The PNP should stop blaming the rise of criminality to the Elections. They should act on it immediately and solve the problem. During the Christmas Season, they blamed the increase of lawlessness to the holidays. They said thieves and robbers will increase their illegal activities during the "ber" (October-December) months to take advantage of the influx of shoppers spending their Christmas bonuses.
Now, the PNP is blaming the skyrocketing crime rate to the May polls. They said that some unscrupulous politicians are using all means to eliminate their rivals and are willing to do everything to collect money to fund their election bid. The PNP could be pointing the blame to other factors to hide their stupidity and inefficiency. The people really don't give a shit why the crime rate is peaking up; all they want is for the PNP to make our country safer. That is the PNP's main objective and function; to make our streets, neighborhoods, malls and homes; safe, secure and out of harm's way.
So the pigs should stop yapping about why the criminals are having fun and striking everywhere. The cops should stop talking and start working. Solve crimes and catch criminals you lazy pigs!!!
