A recent news item said that 3 Filipinos were arrested in Bangkok, Thailand for illegal activities again. This time they were involved in money laundering scams and were staying in Bangkok as their main point of operations. Also arrested were more than 15 people of different nationalities, some were from the US, Germany, UK and other European nations. The group were allegedly victimizing rich Americans and Europeans and chose to set up their "headquarters" in Bangkok, Thailand to avoid getting arrested in the US or in Europe.
Well, the Thai authorities didn't like foreigners messing up their country so they immediately arrested the multinational crooks and they will face criminal charges. It's a bad thing that 3 Filipinos were again involved in that money laundering scam; they are a disgrace to our nation and to our race. It was good though that Americans and Europeans were also involved in that illegal activity in Bangkok so that the Thai authorities and the rest of the world will know that Filipinos are not the only crooks in this world. This will prove that people from rich and well developed nations are also engaged in scams and frauds and not just us poor Asians.
I hope the US and European citizens caught will not be accorded any special treatment by the Thais. All them should be punished equally and treated similarly. They should all go to jail for all their felony so that other criminally minded persons will think twice before committing any crime. Let justice be applied to these crooks the same way, regardless of their race, nationality, creed and color. Yup, let all crooks rot in jail!!!
