Broken High Voltage Electrocutes 3 Kids in Zambales.

A high voltage electrical line in Castillejos, Zambales snapped and fell on 3 kids a couple of days ago which resulted in the immediate death of 1 child and caused serious injuries on 2 others. The high voltage wire was near a school and the kids were passing by when it fell on them. Residents blamed the Zambales Electric Company or ZAMECO for not fixing the power lines in time to prevent such tragedy from happening. People living nearby have repeatedly informed the electric company about the bad state of its power lines in that area but they were just ignored.

The 2 seriously injured kids were extremely burned; one of them lost an arm due to that incident. The ZAMECO management said it will conduct a thorough investigation about the accident and will issue a report in a few days. Now, isn't that dumb? The company that caused the disaster because of its recklessness will investigate itself? Wow, are Local Government Officials in Zambales dumb and stupid? An independent body should conduct the investigation to prevent any whitewash. A criminal can't investigate and then decide if his guilty or not. He will obviously exonerate himself from all charges!

I hope the kids that got injured will survive and get well soon. Although they may never recover 100% from their injuries, I pray to God that they will learn to cope and adjust from the serious damage made by that high voltage power line. It's always the innocent that fall victim to the stupidity and carelessness of others.  Some things never change in this nation; life always sucks for the poor in our country.....
