Some people are really lucky. They end up as congressmen, senators, vice presidents and presidents. They lie, chat and steal and they never end up in jail. They also become really rich and powerful. Yup, some people are really born lucky!
One example of a lucky person is former Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo; she just got out of her hospital arrest a few days ago and she's now free. Yes folks, the tiny, lucky bitch from hell is as free as a bird and is now enjoying her newly found freedom. She is out on bail, thanks to a court judge that granted her motion to post bail. I wonder how much did Gloria pay that judge to get her temporary freedom?
Critics of the present administration said Gloria got out of her hospital arrest due to the weak and useless election fraud case against her. They said the case lacked evidence and was obviously rushed to keep Gloria from leaving the country to escape prosecution from the present administration. Well, maybe the critics are right about that but I still like seeing Gloria ending up in hospital arrest than letting her escape to country without any extradition treaty with the Philippines.
She could have easily asked for political asylum in any foreign country where Gloria and the rest of her thieving family can enjoy the fruits of her corrupt presidency. So I guess keeping her temporarily in a hospital arrest is a better option than letting her slip away to bask in her ill-gotten wealth. The Aquino administration vowed to file plunder charges against Gloria and assured the public that she can't wiggle her way out from that case. Let's all wait and see, maybe Gloria's good luck will eventually run out and she will finally end up in jail for good. I'll keep my fingers crossed....
