According to a news report, the 1 Billion pesos worth of new 9 millimeter pistols bought by the Philippine National Police (PNP) are defective. A few samples of the guns, Glock 9mm from Austria and supplied by a company named Trust Trade; were being torture tested at a shooting/firing range a few days ago when the pistols suffered malfunctions. A video footage showing a couple of cops field testing the new pistols showed the guns exhibiting multiple stoppages and jams. It also showed the cops cooling the guns with an electric fan during the torture test! It was even a rainy day as it was clearly seen in the video and the guns needed an electric fan!
Crap! A lot of cops and suppliers at the PNP got rich again! Despite the various malfunctions on the new pistols, the PNP hierarchy still opted to approve the purchase and delivery of the 16,000 units of 9mm handguns! The PNP should also order an additional 16,000 units of electric fans for each cop using the new pistols to cool the guns down during a firefight! Imagine using an electric fan to lower the temperature of the pistols during a torture test conducted on a rainy day? Now what kind of a torture test is that? Sure, guns normally generate a lot of heat after firing hundreds of ammo but that's why it's being subjected to a torture test so that in a real gun battle, the guns won't conk out!
These pricks in government will never change their evil and corrupt ways. They will always keep on stealing taxpayers' money and buying defective weapons as long as they get huge kickbacks and commissions. I wonder what kind of warships and warplanes the government is going to buy to beef up our military capability, fishing boats disguised as frigates and biplanes altered to look like F16s? Yes, things will never change in our country as long as the same corrupt assholes are in government. We will always be at the mercy of criminals and bullying countries because of our crooked leaders. What a bunch of scumbags!!!
