This story is for the Guinness Book of World Records, folks. The Manila Police Headquarters owes the Maynilad more than 5 million pesos of unpaid water bills from the year 2005-2011. Now the entire Manila Police Headquarters have no water supply since Maynilad decided to cut off their services until the amount due is fully paid and settled by the coppers.
Why did the Manila Police HQ failed to pay their water bills when a monthly/yearly budget is provided for it? That's and easy question to answer people; some asshole police general/s probably pocketed or diverted the funds allocated for the water supply. Guess where that money flowed, to their deep pockets I suppose! You really have to admit; these scumbags are really creative and are geniuses when it comes to graft and corruption. I mean, who ever thought of pocketing the funds for the water bill eh?
A police spokesman interviewed on TV even tried to blame the huge water invoice at illegal pilferage and huge water leaks at the the headquarters. That's original but also dumb reasoning. If the Manila Police HQ have suspected all along that there are humongous leaks and illegal pilferage or tapping of water then why haven't they investigated the matter and had it all fixed before it got worse? They are a bunch of cops right? So what the hell are they doing? Haven't they heard of plumbers who fix water leaks? Lazy, thieving Bastards!
This story stinks of GRAFT AND CORRUPTION if you ask me! As usual, you can't trust the Politicians, Government Personnel and the Police when it comes to taxpayer's money.....
