This is a horrible news about another kid being victimized again in our country; a 12 year old boy was hacked to death in a far flung barrio in Bayambang, Pangasinan a few days ago. The boy was gathering firewood after coming home from school on a remote place so that his family can cook their dinner when he failed to come back to their house. His parents were naturally worried after the kid failed to resurface the whole night and decided to look for him in the isolated woody areas at first light.
Well, they found the boy but he was already dead and horribly mutilated. His whole body bore stab and hack wounds from a machete, his skull was almost split in two and his head was almost severed from his neck. The kid's parents, nearby residents as well as the cops were all aghast and sickened at the boy's chopped up body. Nobody expected such violence and savagery would be inflicted on a young boy who was only gathering firewood for his poor family.
The cops are now investigating who the killer or killers might be. The cops think that the suspect/s may not be far from the area and mistook the kid as a thief but I doubt that theory. Even if the kid was stealing something, who in his right mind would chop him up? Only and evil minded person will do that to a kid! I think some drug crazed asshole attacked that kid because that is the only way that young boy will end up so horribly mutilated.
It was not known what was the was the motive of the killer as the young boy and his family have no known enemies in the locale. The police authorities are also perplexed and taken aback at the ruthlessness and viciousness of the attacker, it was worse than a wild animal attacking its prey. The cops vowed to catch the bastard who chopped up the boy and I hope that they soon get that killer behind bars...
