This story will surely make you guys wonder what kind of assholes run our Government. The Politicians that are elected are not just corrupt and immoral; they are also stupid and brainless. The Pasay City local government is thinking of imposing taxes on everybody who owns a dog and a bicycle. The city plans to charge Php20 and Php30 a year for each dog and bicycle.
Now, it doesn't matter if your pet is a mongrel (mixed or unknown breed or askal) or a pedigree and it doesn't matter if your bike is the most expensive thing on Earth or the cheapest and the ugliest kind. As long as you have a dog and a bike the city is going to tax you for it. It really makes you think and wonder what kind of people are inside those large, air-conditioned and well furnished offices huh? They are very rich and powerful elected leaders but are stupid, greedy and callous to the plight of the poor Filipinos. Greedy pricks!
I know, 20 and 30 pesos a year is not much but why always impose taxes on the ordinary and poor folks? Our Government always targets the ordinary Juan Dela Cruz in this country while the rich scumbags always get off easily from their tax duties. Take for example Lucio Tan who owed the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) more than Php1Billion in taxes from one of his cigarette companies, the billionaire Chink never paid a single cent to the BIR, he was cleared of all tax evasion cases in court. Well, the BIR always meant "Bigay Ikaw Ragalo" ("give me gifts") anyways so somebody got bribed again and got rich in that agency.
The rich always get what they want and they also get away easily from all their illegal activities. It's always the poor Juan Dela Cruz who gets buried deeper and deeper in shit. So what do you think will the local officials of Pasay City do with all that mutt and bike taxes that they intend to collect in the future if their plans push through? It will simply go to their deep pockets! 20 and 30 pesos a year is trivial but if you collect that amount from thousands of residents then it will easily rich millions of pesos. Who knows, maybe next time the pricks will also tax the people for all the stray cats and sewer rats all over the country. The fat, porky and greasy corrupt politicians will get richer and chunkier again. Lucky bastards!!!
