Chinese Milk Contains High Levels of Mercury.

Chinese milk being sold in China contains high levels of Mercury, according to a recent news report. Damn, I hope those mercury tainted milk are not also sold here! The Chinese Government ordered the recall of a certain brand of Chinese milk being sold locally in their country. This is not the first time that Chinese milk is tainted with harmful chemicals. Many months ago, China also recalled many brands of milk after being discovered to be tainted with melamine.

Melamine is a chemical used in the manufacturing of plastic products. The chemical looks a lot like milk; it has no taste or odor and makes the milk product when tested to appear to have a high protein content. That's why one milk supplier in China decided to add melamine powder to their milk powder so that they will pass the tests for high protein content. Clever bastards eh?

Almost a perfect infant formula except when ingested, melamine damages the kidneys and will eventually result in kidney failure and sure death. The Chinese Government eventually traced the deadly milk to 2 dumb assed Chinese brothers who were supplying  a couple of milk producing companies. Well, the 2 stooges got a dose of their own medicine, these two dumb assholes got the death penalty and were swiftly executed.

Now this, mercury tainted milk. China is getting famous for producing cheap and affordable products these past few years. Cheap food, cheap toys, cheap fake cell phones, bogus laptops, and phony PC tablets, etc. Not to mention cheap medicines of dubious efficacy, quality and ingredients. Remember the "fetus pills" seized in a South Korean airport a few weeks or months ago? Jesus Christ! So next comes mercury in Chink milk. Mercury causes "mercury poisoning" if high doses are taken by humans.

"Mercury is a metallic element that is a free flowing liquid at room temperature. It was once known as liquid silver or quick silver. It was known to ancient civilizations and no single individual is credited to having discovered it. The element was named after the planet Mercury.

Mercury is used in thermometers (banned now due to its harmful effects), barometers, electrifiers and switches. It is also used in fluorescent lamps and batteries but its amount has been significantly reduced as less harmful alternatives have been discovered.

Mercury is acutely hazardous as a vapor which corrodes the membranes of the body. It is more deadly in vapor form than in liquid since it is easily absorbed through inhalation. Short term, limited contact with mercury causes bleeding gums, vomiting and stomach pain. It is potentially fatal and can cause irreversible damage to the brain, liver and kidneys."  (Source: Encarta Premium)

So folks, do you still want to keep on buying and patronizing Chink made products? Go ahead buy at your own risk!
