Cops investigating the Alfred Mendiola murder along with his 2 other dead companions may have stumbled on a lucky break on that gruesome case. Ballistic examinations revealed that the slugs recovered on the corpses were from a .45 Caliber pistol and an unfired ammo was also found inside an abandoned van which cops believe was the last vehicle used by Mendiola and his companions before they were killed. Filipinos love .45s as a weapon for self defense or for committing crimes, I guess it's because the Americans developed this firearm to provide more stopping power against the Moros' in Mindanao during the Philippine-American Wars in the late 19th century. Yes Sir, the 1911 Colt .45 Pistol was exclusively designed to kill Filipino Muslims during that war so it's a bit funny now that Pinoys love .45s so much. We simply don't like sissy 9mm's in our arms cache, we dislike poor stopping power.
So what's so great about identifying the kind of gun that was used to waste the 3 poor dudes? Nothing much except....in another incident where a younger sibling of the jailed Dominguez brothers caused a ruckus inside the trial court where his elder brothers case was about to be heard and when the police checked out their vehicles, 2 pistols and 2 assault carbines along with lots of ammunition were found. Yup, these kids are barely out of their teens and they've got assault rifles in their cars! The cars that they used were also carjacked!
One gun was particularly important that may soon solve the case of Alfred Mendiola's murder. A .45 caliber pistol was found in one of the stolen vehicles used by the young Ryan Dominguez, 20year old, when they caused the commotion at the court of law. Police crime lab reported that the slugs recovered from the dead bodies matched those from the .45 owned by Ryan so he's in deep, deep shit now. Yup, shit all the way up to his nose! The coppers are going to put all the blame on him about those 3 murders and they will nail his ass to the wall. Heehaw! God does work in mysterious ways! Don't you guys agree?
It's a good thing that these criminals got big balls but teeny-weeny brains because they're too stupid to ditch the murder weapon that they used to blow the 3 dead guys' brains out. Now that the murder weapon was found in their possession I guess the cops can now solve that murder and the young Ryan Dominguez can soon join his big bros at the slammer. He should have dumped that .45 or better yet took a blowtorch to it and melted it to a lump of steel so the coppers can never find that murder weapon. But as I've said before, Pinoys just love .45s more than anything else so maybe that's why the killers kept that gun. Dumb Assed Killers!!!
