A few days ago an incident happened at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 Arrival Area. Claudine Barreto-Santiago, a once famous local actress and her husband Raymart Santiago also a previously famous action star were berating and shouting invectives at the Cebu Pacific Airline Personnel for their lost luggage. The once famed, illustrious and recognized couple was irked at the said airline employees for mishandling their belongings that instead of being loaded to their flight going back to Manila, it was sent to another location. The couple and their companions have just arrived from Boracay where they spent their summer vacation and said that important stuff like their kids medicines were now lost.
As the arrogant couple were busy reprimanding the poor airline employees and thereby creating a scene at the airport arrival area, this veteran columnist and reporter named Ramon Tulfo who happened to be also at the same area took out his cell phone and was taking videos of the incident and at the same time asked the twosome what was the problem about. But instead of telling him what was going on, the lovely pair ordered the media man to stop taking videos and Raymart tried to take his cell phone. Naturally the reporter refused to give his phone to the passe couple and that's when all hell broke loose at the airport. Yes sir, when I said all hell, I really meant all hell guys!
It was then that the couple and one of their buddies directed their verbal abuse and anger at the journalist, after failing to grab his cell phone which the newspaperman repelled with some Karate moves; the three stooges decided to gang up on him. And gang up on him they did! Raymart Santiago managed to grab the reporter from behind and that's when he applied a choke hold on his neck that would put any Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) expert to shame. One of their companions also refused to be outdone so he delivered countless punches and kicks to the poor reporters' face and body. Damn! I think we got a new Manny Pacquiao or Bruce Lee in the making here. Attention Bob Arum, we got anew fighter for you to promote!!! Lol
Well, that's not all. Claudine Barreto also joined the fray and delivered a lot of kicks and punches at Ramon Tulfo, then grabbed him by his shirt (thank God it wasn't the guy's balls that she grabbed!) and dragged Tulfo like a mop all over the floor; thanks to the instructions and commands of her husband Raymart Santiago. Whoa! What the hell is this? A couple of MMA tag teams with Raymart acting like Georges St. Pierre (GSP) as a fighter, trainer and coach all at the same time? The guards at the NAIA did try their best to pacify and separate the warring quartet but they just can't control the attacking trio. Yup, they were in a mauling frenzy if you ask me! Now, who needs to watch action movies or MMA bouts when you got a bunch of weirdos going at it in public and out of the blue eh?
Anyway , the newspaperman got really beat up and the funny thing was that Ramon Tulfo got famous for being tough, hard-hitting and was never known to back-off from a fight. Well, he didn't back-off but he wasn't that tough and hard-hitting in that cell phone video at the the NAIA incident which was uploaded by witnesses in You Tube. He was also reputed to be a Martial Arts Expert but he wasn't able to defend himself that well against the rabid three musketeers that went apeshit on him. He better fire his Martial Arts Trainer and find a better one. I guess being mobbed by three maniacs is not an easy situation for anyone. I almost forgot, they were all wearing pink colored shirts so that color is not for sissies so don't you ever go pissing somebody in a pink shirt or dress okay? Unless you wan to end up black and blue too. :)
Some people said the passe actor and actress couple were out of line from their actions and were severely criticized for their uncivilized manners although some folks also defended and agreed to what they did. As for the newsman, some said that he deserved what happened to him for being such an unforgiving columnist and a nosy reporter while some also sided with him for his woes. If you ask me, I think the video uploaded by witnesses in You Tube will speak for itself who got maltreated and abused so I don't have to comment on it. It's up to you to form your own opinion once you get to see it by yourself. Whoever said that the NAIA is such a boring and lousy place? I beg to disagree folks. :)
