An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia suffered extreme and horrendous burns in his entire body after an electrical accident in that country. The victim, Alfredo Salmos, 52 years old and a former electrician working there is now in deep pain and is unrecognizable due to his injuries. He desperately wants to go home to the Philippines but the Saudi Government refuses to let him go because of a previous problem about a traffic accident that happened in the past.
A local TV network here in our country is now working with the Philippine authorities to help this poor Filipino to come home to his family so that they can properly take care of him. Mr. Alfredo Salmos also needs a lot of medical help to have his burns operated on to lessen his pain and suffering and to improve his present condition. His face is heavily disfigured and his face, neck and chin are now stuck to his upper chest due to the burned skin fusing together. His hands, arms and most of his body are all badly burned, a really horrible sight. This man needs all the help that he can get.
I hope that this man can finally go home to his family soon. He may never regain his previous appearance and use his limbs normally again, he may not even live long enough at all but still it's a lot better to be with your loved ones when you finally meet your maker. Unless you live in some kind of problem-free home, you must have at one time experienced some electrical problems. Forget about the bulb needing to be changed, real electrical problems. In such cases, it is always best not to play hero, instead, get a qualified electrician to handle the situation.
