128 Private Schools Allowed to Hike Fees.

This is the news that parents and students often dread. Another round of tuition fee increases from private schools starting this June, one more nail on the coffin for the rights of students to an affordable, inexpensive and quality education. For a country that is full of impoverished population, the right to cheap yet decent education is the only chance for most Filipinos to get out of destitution.

It's so hard to find decent paying jobs in our country, hell, it's impossible to find any job at all! Most Filipinos are forced to go abroad to find work to support their families and to be able to send their kids to good schools. The Philippines prides itself for having world-class workers, the number one export product of this country is its hard-working citizens. It's not the delicious mangoes, virgin coconut oil, copra, pineapples or bananas that we export in huge numbers everyday; it's our work force, our people.Millions of Juan Dela Cruzes being "exported" all over the world every single day.....

But it seems that the Philippine Government is keen on extinguishing that last crucial advantage that Filipinos have from other foreign workers abroad, the intelligence, cleverness and brainpower that Filipinos get from the once affordable and world-class education that we have from our schools. We have millions of accomplished, efficient and qualified professionals working all over the globe because the education that they had here in our country was still reasonable and well within the reach of their parents. But that is changing now, thanks to our brainless, useless and corrupt Government.

The Philippines survived many Global Economic Slowdowns and Recessions that occurred in the past because our primary export product was always in demand all over the world; it never went out of style, our Filipino Overseas Workers or OFWs.Now that last frontier of excellence and our final bastion against total economic downfall is being jeopardized by this stupid, irresponsible and immoral Government that we have because of its insensitivity to the ordinary Filipinos rights and needs. Every Filipino has the right to affordable and excellent education but the Government only thinks of collecting more taxes and stealing more from the people.

Soon the Philippines would be sending Filipino workers abroad not as the best nurses, doctors, engineers, architects, teachers, etc. but as the cheapest and dumbest slaves that money can buy. Why? Because if more and more Filipino parents can no longer afford to send their kids to good schools because it's too expensive then how can we have more excellent workers in the future? It's happening right now; most parents can't afford to send their kids to high school or even to take up vocational courses.

It's the never ending greed that is slowly but surely killing our poor countrymen and is bleeding our nation dry. It all started from our greedy politicians, gluttonous companies and now, these materialistic private schools are joining the gang of the greedy....
