A Filipino-Chinese businesswoman identified as Lea Angeles Ng was kidnapped and brutally murdered by a Philippine National Police (PNP) Officer last January 20. The police being accused of undertaking this dastardly act was Senior Superintendent/Colonel Rommel Miranda. The Colonel and with the help of two other crooked cops PO1 Otelio Santos, Jr., and PO1 Jifford Signap were positively identified by another suspect who claimed that they forced him to kill and hide the victim's body inside a septic tank.
The despicable crime was sparked by the Php13 Million allegedly pocketed by the Police Colonel from the businesswoman who was his former business partner in a lending company. After killing the victim, the police officer even tried to collect a Php10 Million ransom from the victim's family by trying to make it appear that it was a case of Kidnap for Ransom and was not connected to their business dispute.
The scumbag cop was a former spokesperson of the National Capital Region Police Office and is now under the custody of his superiors. The PNP is investigating the crime and as usual, vowed to put the Colonel behind bars. These bad eggs at the police force have no shame, they extort, deal drugs and now they kidnap and kill rich people and demand large amounts of ransom. This Police Colonel kills his business partner after stealing Php13 Million and makes it appear as a case of Kidnapping and demands another Php10 Million as payment. This copper is a weird and deadly business minded fella! These rotten scoundrels make he entire PNP look more dreadful that it already is.
The PNP Top Brass should clean out its ranks, they should investigate, arrest, file charges and jail these police scumbags. But then again, if they do that they could also end up in jail because the PNP Top Brass is also full of corruption and are nothing but a bunch of crooks. So how can you expect an Institution to clean up its ranks when the leaders are so filthy and offensive? I guess were all stuck with these crooked bastards forever!!!
