Syrian Government Bans OFWs.

The Syrian Government recently issued a ban on Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from entering their country after the Philippine Government ordered that all OFWs in Syria must be repatriated or must return home due to the ongoing war. The Syrian Officials were apparently irked at the decision of the Philippine Government which was intended to assure the safety of its citizens working abroad.

I guess the Syrians can ban all Filipinos from entering their country and it wouldn't make any difference. OFWs will probably avoid their country like it has the plague or something because of the civil unrest there. Filipinos maybe desperate in finding work here and abroad but I bet nobody wants to end up as target practice for any amount of money. Nope, Pinoys are not that desperate nor are they that stupid.

There are a lot of countries all over the world that would still hire our Filipino workers so the Syrians can enforce the ban forever if they want to. It's better to let them kill each other not be involved in their conflict because once the smoke clears; they will start hiring OFWs all over again. Why? Our OFWs are simply the best workers that  they can find at such cheap salaries. When it comes to good performance and high tolerance for abusive employers, nobody can beat the Filipino worker. So go ahead and enforce the ban, sooner or later they will lift it again.
