Despite the dissent of the U.S. and the International Community, North Korea is determined to launch a rocket carrying its own satellite into space. The U.S., South Korea and Japan are threatening to shoot down the rocket if North Korea pushes through with its plans and that is one scary scenario. Everybody knows that North Korea has nuclear weapons, no thanks to the Chinese and the Soviets and that is very dangerous for every nation within its weapons range, including the Philippines.
North Korea has been notorious about going apeshit very now and then, launching attacks on South Korea and always intimidating Japan. The stern warning from the U.S., South Korea and Japan about shooting down any rocket launched by the North Koreans increases the danger of a nuclear war in our region. It's anybody's guess what the crazy North Koreans would do if the U.S. and it's allies did shoot down its rocket. I really wouldn't want to find out what would happen next. It's just too scary!
When the Fukoshima Nuclear Power Plant of Japan was damaged by the great Japanese quake and Tsunami and began leaking radiation, everybody in Southeast Asia was scared shitless. We all know of the horrors of a nuclear radiation sickness from the vintage footage of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings 70 years ago, specially its long term effects on the Japanese survivors. Then there was the Chernobyl Nuclear disaster which scattered radiation all over Europe and caused the birth of deformed children.
Nope, nobody wants to mess around with any radiation. Now a crazy, nuclear armed country being threatened to be met with military force is too scary even for a horror movie fanatic like me. Yup, it might be what the North Koreans have been waiting for all these years, the chance to blow up the entire Southeast Asian region into smithereens. Yeah, I bet North Korea wants to see what those nuclear weapons can really do and they are probably tired of just keeping it inside their bunkers for so many years.
We better pray guys,nuclear weapons are not to be taken lightly. Once it is launched, it will have disastrous consequences. It could make us all dead or worse die slowly from radiation exposure. Now, doesn't that scare you too?
