Private Schools to Increase Fees.

More than 100 private schools in the Metro are planning to increase their fees again. These are in the Elementary, High School and College levels. The students and their parents are complaining to the Government but as always nothing more can be done to prevent the fee hikes next semester.

Most of these schools are in service to make huge profits and not to provide quality education at affordable cost. Gone were the days when schools are more interested in imparting excellent education and not so much engrossed on making so much money. Most of these schools are owned and managed by the church or some religious institutions but I guess times have really changed. They are all in for the money now and not for the betterment of the students.

It always comes down to making more money, more profits and more wealth. Even the clergy are not exempted from the greediness and self-indulgence nowadays. We can't expect honesty from our politicians and now our private schools and religious institutions are gluttonous for material wealth too. As I've said before, graft and corruption is a very, very, contagious disease; so contagious that it has already infected the private and religious sector of our society.
