A University of the Philippines 3rd year Agriculture student in Los Banos, Laguna was held up and stabbed dead a few feet away from his boarding house. He was on his way home along with two friends at about 1 a.m. when the incident happened. The suspects were aboard two motorcycles and were waiting for possible victims when the students were unlucky enough to chance upon them.
The victim, Ray Bernard Peneranda was stabbed several times in the chest after he refused to give his belongings to the thieves. His two other companions managed to flee from the suspects and were unharmed. The suspects are now being hunted by the local Los Banos Police.
Many cases of robberies, murder and rape have been occurring at the University of the Philippines campuses, both in UP Diliman and in UP Los Banos. Both Universities have its own campus police that regularly patrol the area but it is obviously not enough to prevent such heinous crimes from happening. The UP Diliman and the UP Los Banos campuses are open to the public and are hundreds of hectares wide.
The whole 56 man member Los Banos Philippine National Police (PNP) force was suspended after this latest murder; a few weeks ago a female high school student was raped and killed in almost the same area where Ray Peneranda was stabbed. Last year, another female UP Los Banos student was also raped and killed. All crimes are still unsolved by the Police, no mystery to that since the PNP is one of the dumbest and laziest police force in the world.
Damn these bandits, they should be arrested and thrown in jail for life or better yet they should be shot dead on sight just like what you do with rabid dogs. They keep on victimizing innocent people and have absolutely no respect for human lives.
As for the cops, their asses should also thrown in the slammer too for sleeping on their jobs. All they do is eat, drink, sleep, steal public funds and get fat. They engage in illegal activities like kidnapping, extortion, stealing or using stolen cars, drug-dealing, protector of various illegal activities, etc. They hardly ever perform any police work to prevent crimes and they seldom catch any crooks. Lazy bastards!
