Lost of Biscuits Coming Soon!!!

The United Nation Food Aid Program is sending 2 tons of high-energy biscuits as nourishment assistance to the quake victims in the Visayas region. This is a great news to the people who are in desperate need of provisions, especially those who are in the remote and far-flung areas where relief goods cannot be easily delivered.

Its a good thing that the UN is now lending a helping hand to our devastated countrymen. Instead of begging our leaders for food, water and other basic needs the UN will give us the much needed relief, I hope without the begging part. It's  because in the Philippines before a typhoon, flood, volcanic eruption or quake victims receive much needed assistance from the Government, they have to beg their local officials. You have to kiss their asses first. If the local officials like the mayors or governors got high votes in your location, chances are you'll get relief goods but if they got low votes or lost in your area during the last elections, then you'll probably get nothing.

Sounds crazy? I know but it's the truth. Politicians here are geniuses when it comes to manipulating the people; they know exactly what to do. Like during calamities and state of emergencies, they use basic commodities that victims need to make themselves look good and to make their point that if you vote for them you will also get something in return. Smart move eh? Yup, brilliant move except that it's wicked and vile!

Just a word of advice to the UN Food Aid Program, please make sure that the 2-ton high energy biscuits that your giving would reach the real people who need them because our politicians are also very good magicians. Yes, better than David Blaine or David Copperfield. They can make those biscuits disappear and and up in the wrong places like in their warehouses or on the market to be sold and not in the hungry mouths of the poor quake victims. Abracadabra! Poof, and it's gone!
